I recently accepted the finance manager position at my work and I can tell you one thing is for sure… at least half of my days are spent in meetings. Between my time being compressed with additional meetings, and onboarding a new employee on my team; it has been extra stressful to get my work done. So how am I making it through? My tips are below on how I manage my stress during work hours!
As I sit curled on my couch writing this, I cannot stop thinking about books. There is something wonderful to holding a stack of pages that shows every coffee spill, tear, fold, or highlight within its tight bounds. My summer book bucket list is already in full swing and I couldn’t wait to share it on here. Right now I’m reading (and LOVING) Becoming Michelle Obama. My pile of books has quite the array of writing styles and I’m extra eager for a few of them in particular – one by my favorite comedian Sebastian Maniscalco and a book by my favorite historian, David McCullough.
