
While relaxing tonight, I decided to make a quick fall craft. I dug through the miscellaneous craft supplies and found four of these wooden blocks. The letters could easily use a Cricut machine or calligraphy pens but I do not have either at my place so I decided to hand paint the letters. Next time I would definitely use a calligraphy pen for clearer lines. While working on this, I thought of how I would like to improve my lettering skills. Supplies:
- 4 Wooden Blocks (pictured: about 2 in. x 2 in.)
- CraftSmart Stain: Walnut
- CraftSmart Chalk Paint: Burnt Orange
- Foam Brush
- Fine Tip Paint Brush
Directions:
Begin by staining the blocks with the walnut stain per the directions on the bottle. Then use the fine tip paint brush to carefully add letters to the blocks.
