FALL Blocks DIY

While relaxing tonight, I decided to make a quick fall craft. I dug through the miscellaneous craft supplies and found four of these wooden blocks. The letters could easily use a Cricut machine or calligraphy pens but I do not have either at my place so I decided to hand paint the letters. Next time I would definitely use a calligraphy pen for clearer lines. While working on this, I thought of how I would like to improve my lettering skills. Comment below with what you would recommend to learn and improve!

Supplies:

  • 4 Wooden Blocks (pictured: about 2 in. x 2 in.)
  • CraftSmart Stain: Walnut
  • CraftSmart Chalk Paint: Burnt Orange
  • Foam Brush
  • Fine Tip Paint Brush

Directions:

Begin by staining the blocks with the walnut stain per the directions on the bottle. Then use the fine tip paint brush to carefully add letters to the blocks.
