Christmas Woodland Wreath

Anyone else spend a long time in their local craft stores floral department when prepping for a new wreath? It is one of my favorite things to do when creating a new wreath. Plus it allows me to test a few different concepts before I make a purchase. We have all been there when an idea doesn’t come together like you think, right? Haha. I’ll lay the wreath form in the cart and continue to add or subtract items until the desired look is achieved. The finished wreath is below but click “read more” to see my layout inside of JoAnn’s. This cute woodland Christmas wreath might be one of my favorites! Comment below what your favorite Christmas wreath theme is? I’ve listed some below to get you thinking!

Whimsical Stocking Holder

With Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” playing through our house, the snow continues to pile up outside (White Christmas is my favorite Christmas movie of all time! If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend watching it ASAP). It’s the first snow day of the season for us and it falls perfectly at the beginning of December. I LOVE snow during Christmastime. Command Strips have worked great but we wanted a unique way to display our stockings. My mom and I brainstormed the idea for these whimsical stocking holders while decorating a Gingerbread Train (found at Target) and now we are excited to share it with you!

Christmas Stocking Holder in July

My love of Christmas absolutely embraces the phrase “Christmas in July”. With a new apartment a whole new opportunity for Christmas crafts opened up and I could not wait to make the first decoration any longer. I made a custom stocking for my boyfriend this last Christmas, so it was fitting that the first decoration would be a stocking hanger. I am already excited to hang this up in our cute little home this holiday season. Even though it’s a little weird to be wearing shorts while working on a Christmas craft, I loved every minute and I’m sure that this won’t be my last one this July.
